Update all your online profiles at the same time…

Saturday, August 2nd, 2008

If you’re anything like me then you have probably signed up to several social networking services.  Keeping them all updated can be very time consuming, especially if you want to update them all with the same information.

Here’s the answer, Ping.FM.  A free service that lets you update many major social networking sites at once.

This serivce is still in Beta at the moment but if you want to sign up then you can use the following code:

  • pingscompany

Ping.FM lets you update your status (twitter, friend feed, Identi.ca, facebook etc) and blogs (myspace, bebo, xanga etc).  All from one single form.

It’s easy to set up, its free and its a great time saver. Try it now.

Start again…

Well, I had a few problems with my site after I rebuilt it, notably that the comments were not working. I finally got it fixed, the one downside to that is that I lost all my past blog posts.

Ok, in the grand scheme of things its not the end of the world, but you know how it is when you put so much time into something and then it goes wrong. Apparently the problem was caused by an error in my MySQL database?? and when I tried to repair it I lost everything and had to reinstall wordpress.

Anyway, I’m sure that you’re not that interested in that side of my website?

I hope you like the new look though, and the features that I’m constantly working on. It’s a theme that I’ve touched upon before but this time everything is working as it should, this is entirely my own theme too!

You can probably see in the sidebar that I have pretty much all my recent demos on the music player.  There are one or two lost songs out there somewhere but I’m more interested in writing nnew songs than trying to hunt down old ones.

Also, on the music page you can download the EP I released last year for free in either flac or mp3 format.

There are other features I would like to add to the site, and hopefully I will, but I really need to focus on writing, recording and playing live for the time being.

Of course I will keep my blog up to date and you can always follow me on Twitter,so you’ll always know what I’m up to.

This coming weekend I want to spend as much time as I can on music, primarily rehearsing but also some writing and recording too.  It’s about time I posted some new music.
